Academic Qualifications :Senior Cambridge and S.S.C. from Queen Mary High School, Mumbai.
Diploma from Sir J.J. Institute of Applied Art, Mumbai. Stood IIIrd. in rank in the State of Maharashtra.

1968-1971

Joined Pundole Art Gallery, Mumbai, as Graphic Designer and Gallery Manager. Gained extensive experience in the fields of Art Appreciation, Art Evaluation, Gallery Management and Graphic Design.

Amongst the many exhibition catalogues designed was the catalogue for the Brazil, which was well received in India and abroad.

Started painting seriously.

Participated in the Maharashtra State Art Exhibition in 1970.

1972-1980

Left Pundole Art Gallery to pursue careers in Painting and Graphic Design independantly.

Founded an artists' group 'Astitva', together with other artists such as Prabhakar Barwe, Gautam Vaghela, V. K. Wankhede, Prabhakar Kolte.

Exhibited paintings in group shows :

• 'ASTITVA' group, Max Mueller Bhavan, Mumbai.
• 'SEVEN INDIAN PAINTERS', Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai.
• 'PAINTERS NINE', Gallery Mouvante, Mumbai.
• 'WOMEN ARTISTS', Drawings & Graphics, Gallery Mouvante, Mumbai.
• 'A SPLASH OF COLOUR', a collection of Contemporary Indian Art curated by Nissim Ezekiel for the American Culture Centre, U.S.IS., Mumbai.

Established 'ART & ATTITUDES', a Graphic Design and Art Consultancy studio.

Designed and Produced : Catalogues for many important art exhibitions; House- journals for companies; Product brouchers; Exclusive stationary; Greeting cards and Gift items for individuals and corporations.

Served on Board of
Committee of The Crafts Council of Western India, as an active member for three years.

1981-1988

As visiting artist, worked at:
GARHI STUDIOS, New Delhi (Serigraphy)
KANORIA CENTRE FOR ARTS, Ahmedabad, (Painting)

Participated in Graphic workshop organized by West Zone Culture Centre, Udaipur.

Continued Graphic Design and Art Consultancy. During this period designed catalogues for some important art exhibitions and cultural events :

• 'Thirty Indian Painters', from the collection of Richardson Hindustan Ltd.;
• 'Bombay Art Festival's All India Sculpture exhibition 'The Sculpted Image';
• Gallery Chemould's 25th. Anniversary exhibition 'Seventeen Indian Painters';
• Exhibition of paintings by Laxman Shreshtha; Golden Jubilee brochure of The Time & Talents Club.

Organized art exhibitions for :
Richardson Hindustan Ltd. and Mr. S.H. Daya of their collections of Contemporary Indian Art.
